California transparency in supply chains

Cannon River Leather Co LLC sells work and heritage footwear from Red WingH, Minnesota. California Civil Code § 1714.43 asks us to say what we do to keep forced labor and human trafficking out of our supply chain.

• We keep a written supplier standard that forbids forced, prison, and child labor.
• We ask first-tier factories and tanneries to confirm they meet that standard when we open or renew a purchase order.
• We do not currently run an independent third-party audit of every mill on a published calendar; we review documents and visit key shops as capacity allows.
• Internal buyers and customer-service leads are told to escalate any report of forced labor to ownership.
• We do not currently certify a social-responsibility course for every vendor employee.
